Bandung, yes this is the city where I live, and has major change since our new Major Ridwan Kamil take over the city. There are a lot of improvement in infrastructure for public.
By doing so the creativity of Bandung Citizen increases. Here and there a lot of new Thematic Tourism Spot as well as Thematic Restaurant or Cafe. One of thematic Cafe that recently goes booming in Social Media is Cafe D'Pakar
Yup this cafe goes booming very fast thanks to the power of social media, and also this cafe offer you a great view of Bandung Hills, because it is located in Bandung higher ground in Dago Pakar area
How to go to Cafe D'Pakar From Bandung ?
Its easy, if you are using your own vehicle just drive your way Jalan Ir. H. Juanda (Dago) and straight up North to a place called Dago Pakar. You will soon meet the Dago Terminal on your right. And near it, there will be a sign written THR Juanda. Follow it pass the THR Juanda and soon you will be at Cafe D'Pakar.And if you are using Public Transportation called Angkot. Use Angkot with Kalapa - Dago route and your destination is Dago Terminal, the fare is around IDR 5000 - 8000. And from there use Ojek to take you the Cafe maybe around IDR 25.000 - 30.000
Or the easy way use Uber / Taxi / Gojek with variable fare
The menu is not much I can tell because its all about standard Light Bites. Because its not the food that they sell but it is the view. The menu such as Cheese Toast or Hot Dog Bolognese
Yes it is the view that they sell here, you can enjoy the beautiful green scenery of Pine Forest in front of you while sitting on the custom made wooden chair, chit-chat with friends here would be nice. Because we are in a higher ground so the weather is cool the wind breeze is smooth
Cheese or Chocolate Toast
IDR 18.000
Toast as the name implied, it as simple as that but with topping Cheese or Chocolate. Well as I might say the size of the bread is bigger than average Toast in Bandung. And it is crunchy so it is a good light bites in this weather
Hot Dog Bolognese
IDR 28.000
This one a little bit over the top than the Toast because not as average Hot Dog that only consist Sausage + Bread + Mayonnaise + Chili Sauce. This one added the Bolognese flavor for the sauce. You can imagine eating a Spaghetti Bolognese but instead of spaghetti you get Bread.
Thai Green Tea or Thai Tea
IDR 17.000
I kinda like this Thai Tea because remind me the one in Thailand, its a little bit different with Malaysian Teh Tarik because there is no bubble on it. Perfect match for the light bites
There goes the food not much but its fine. But its not the food you are after here, it is the view. Yes the view is priceless. When you already explore Bandung or Lembang or maybe Tebing Keraton that is near here. You can relax and have a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the scenery
