How to Enjoy Bangkok in 4 Days, Part 2

Hola Deffa Here !!!

Continuing my previous post in Exploring Bangkok in 4 Days. This time we will go to the itinerary for the Third Day in Bangkok. For those who missed the Part 1 series you can find it by clicking the link below

Why Don't You Try Cruising The Chao Praya River

Yup for starter of your third day in Bangkok. Its a good choice if you try the famous Cruise of Chao Praya River using the Chao Praya River Tourist Express Boat.

The Chao Praya River Express Boat is divided by Flag Colors they are Green, Yellow, Orange, Blue and No Flag. Now for the cruise you can try aboard the Blue Flag.

Its quite enjoyable you can aboard the boat from Nonthaburi or Saphan Taksin (Sathorn) Pier. The price only 40 bath per person. You can purchase it on board

What are we doing on board the cruise ? Obviously sightseeing, the boat will sail from north to south (vice versa) pier. And will make a few mid stop in front of landmarks. Such as Riverside Cathedral, Flower Market, etc

You can take a picture from your boat and there is a Tour Guide on board that will describe each of every location they stopped with Fluent English.

This cruise usually takes 1 - 2 hours. So prepare your meal or snack and don't forget your water bottle because the weather can be pretty hot

Looking For Halal Food ? MBK Mall Has It

After your cruise, I think its about time for you to have a lunch. And most importantly if you are a Moslem, Halal Food is a must.

So where can we find Halal Food in Bangkok ? MBK Mall is one of the place that has variety of Halal Food in their food court.
MBK Mall also one of few Shopping Mall with Good Quality brand in Fashion and Cheap Price in Bangkok. So you can do your lunch here and go shopping later.

How do we go to MBK Mall ?

The easy way is using BTS, you can use any BTS or for example Samphan Taksin BTS, and off at National Stadium BTS. The fare is around 32 baht

The food price is also quite cheap in MBK Mall, for example Halal Tom Yam Seafood you can get for 200 baht
After your stomach full and a little bit of shopping in MBK Mall. Now we can continue to one of the Famous destination in Bangkok, which is Madame Tussauds located in Pratunam District

Madame Tussauds, is it Worth It ?

I will say yes its worth it, if you are first timer in Bangkok. Because Madame Tussauds is well known in World Wide for their Wax Museum

The Ticket Price for Madame Tussauds on Walk In is 800 baht. But if you buy it online you can get only for 600 baht

And its only walking distance from MBK Mall to Madame Tussaud, because Madame Tussaud is in the 4th Floor of Mall Siam Discovery Mall, that is 500 meters from MBK Mall. So you can walk there

There are wax statue of famous celebrity and public figure from around the world here. Such as Indonesia first President Ir. Soekarno, USA famous actors Will Smith and George Clooney, famous  singer Beyonce and Justin Bieber, and even Football stars David Beckham and Wayne Rooney etc

You can explore this place maybe for 2-3 hours because they have a lot of wax statue collection. Also in the last section, you can make your own Wax Statue by learning from the mentor here. The wax statue that you make can be bought for the souvenir.

Bangkok is Shopping, Platinum Mall is the Answer

Well that is always the first word I think when the word Bangkok came up. Yes for me Bangkok is all about Shopping. For Fashion brand, they have a lot of Great Quality of brand and on top of that the price is always cheaper than your Country, for me is Indonesia.
Platinum Mall is the place you must visit if you are a Shopaholic. This is a Wholesale Fashion Mall. So literally is cheaper than other places in Bangkok.

How to go to Platinum Mall from Madame Tussauds ?

Walk, located in Pratunam district, yes and again its walking distance, about 800 meters from Siam Discovery Mall and through the Central World Mall. If you are looking for fashion brand like Zara etc, Central World is the place, but the price will butt hurt you LOL

So pass the Central World Mall, you will come across the Platinum Mall. If you are using the BTS train exit at Chit Lom BTS

Inside you will find variety of Fashion Store, for woman I think this place is Heaven on Earth. They can buy a lot of Clothes, that they not need to worry about being rip off LOL

Need I remind you the Platinum Mall open daily from 9 am - 7 pm.

Finished ? Not Yet, There is Baiyoke Night Market You've Got to Visit

Thought you are done yet ? Still far from it. In Pratunam there is this Famous Hotel called Baiyoke Sky Hotel. And every night in front of it, the vendor from the Platinum Mall, opened the Street Store.

So basically when the Platinum closed at 7 pm, the vendor inside move their stuff outside of the mall and into the alley that near the Baiyoke Sky Hotel. And the price is cheaper than the one they sells in Platinum Mall, because you can BARGAIN.

How to go to Baiyoke Night Market from Platinum Mall ?

Easy, just walk out of the mall and find the crossing bridge beside the mall and there you arrived at the alley of Baiyoke Night Market, only 5 minutes walk from the mall
And there you have it your full Third Day in Bangkok, will go smoothly if you follow this itinerary.
