Another best destination in Pattaya if you're only have One Day to spent, I would say the Laser Buddha Mountain also known as Khao Chi Chan Buddha.

Okay now you are ready to go to the Laser Buddha, one of popular destination in Pattaya here we go

How to go to Laser Buddha Mountain ?

Well I suppose you are driving here, because there is no Public Transportation for this destination. So I would recommend rent a car or a motorcycle for this trip. I say motorcycle would be best to go around Pattaya, because its cheaper and faster. Usually the rent about 200 baht a day

I assume you start from your hotel in Pattaya (Beach Road or Center Pattaya). Just drive to South by following Sukhumvit Road and turning left on Ban Yen Road, about 30 - 45 minutes drive. You will be passing an intersection where one of them leads to Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, but now our direction is to go to Laser Buddha right ?

The address is Soi Khao Chi Chan, Na Chom Thian, Sattahip, Chon Buri 20250, Pattaya, Thailand. I know its quite confusing, so use your friendly Google Map for this job, just type in Buddha Mountain Pattaya. It will look like this

The road is nice, there is no bumpy road, but keep drive safe. It is located on the Main Road so you won't missed it, the sign board along the road is clear enough.

How much is the Ticket Entry for Laser Buddha Mountain ?

The ticket entry is FREE.

Yes its totally free entry because this place is considered as religious place and also Public Place, so no wonder it is free. But makes no mistake it is free with responsibility. No littering or vandalism

Opening hours are from 8 am until 5 pm, Everyday

What to see at Laser Buddha Mountain ? 

Well its obvious the famous Laser Carved Buddha image, carved in a limestone hill with 130 meters height. Computer software was used to design the Buddha Image, and laser was used to carved it to the mountain. 

It was done during the night, so the light of the laser could be seen more clearly. That's how it got the name Laser Buddha. It was done in 1996 to commemorate the King's 50th year of throne

So that's the story about Laser Buddha, well you won't find the laser pointing at the Mountain now, but the Buddha drawing is painted with Gold, real Gold. so it really stand out from a far.

Oh and don't forget the surrounding area, it is a Natural Beauty, they have lake and beautiful garden, also there is a temple for the Buddha followers to pray

So there you go, I really say you must not miss this place because its like hitting three birds with one stone, you will get Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, Laser Buddha Mountain and Silverlake Vineyard
