Now we are trying to buy the MRT Ticket.
The MRT Ticket is divided by 3 types of Ticket, they are :
- Singapore Tourist Pass
- Ez-Link Card
- Single Trip Ticket
SINGAPORE TOURIST PASS
Singapore Tourist Pass is a special card for tourist for the use of public transportation (MRT, Bus) in Singapore, depend on how long stay in Singapore
How to get it ? You can get it on the MRT Ticket Counter located :
- Changi Airport Station
- Orchard Station
- Chinatown Station
- City Hall Station
- Raffless Place Station
- Ang Mo Kio Station
- Harbor Front Station
- Lavender Station
- Bugis Station
- Bayfront Station
- 1 day = 10 SGD
- 2 days = 16 SGD
- 3 days = 20 SGD
EZ-LINK CARD
The function of Ez-Link Card is similar to Singapore Tourist Pass, where you can use it for Singapore Public Transportation. But the difference is, the card using a Credit Balance, so we need to Top Up the Balance first in order to use it. But for the new card there's already balance in it | |||
How to get it ? You can get it from MRT Ticket Counter in every Station and also they are sold at 7-Eleven store. You also can top up the balance on the 7- Eleven Store or on Ticket Vending Machine
The Card price range is from 10 SGD - 12 SGD

SINGLE TRIP TICKET
Almost the same as Ez-Link Card. But this card can only used for a few trip only on MRT / LRT. Which is for 1 card maximum use of 6 times of trip using MRT / LRT
How to get it ? You can get it from Ticket Vending Maching on Every Station. The Ticket Vending Machine look like this.
The fare is depend on how far your trip is or how many station that you passed. So it will be around 0.20 SGD - 10 SGD
